I Got Called Out

So, I got called out, and I totally deserved it.

As some of you may remember from a few months ago in my A House Divided, Again post the past two weekends were filled with meeting fellow anglers. It's been a busy few weeks and I was using that as an excuse for my lack of posts.

It's a horribly lazy excuse and one I won't make again.

Thankfully, this Sunday Jacob and I were able to actually fish! We had the opportunity to head out with Chris Barclay and Stella.

In the spring both the mountains and trout can be finicky. One day it's hot, the next, not so much. I suppose it's probably like that in most parts of the world, so maybe I shouldn't be so hard on my little corner of the universe.

Thankfully, Sunday was a good day. Fish were caught, nobody fell in, no one drowned.

And I also found out how much fun a good fishing dog can be.

Think I can convince Jacob to get me one?
