Two {More} Fiberglass Rods

Just before we left for Colorado, Jacob finished up two fiberglass builds that have just hit the shop! Here are a few photos and a little information on both of them.

7’ 4 weight - $650.00

C. Barclay Progressive taper, Fiberglass blank, wrapped by Jacob Rash, of Between Two Banks.

  • Traditionally inspired with blued Mildrum stripping guide - carbide ring and nickel silver frame

  •  Hand forged blued nickel-silver snake guides

  • Ring and saddle hook keeper

  • Wrapped in caramel and tipped in gold

  • Modified forward wells grip

  • Burled maple reel seat with blued nickel silver cap and ring.

8’ 5 weight - $695.00

McFarland black fiberglass blank, wrapped by Jacob Rash, of Between Two Banks.

  • Traditionally inspired with Mildrum stripping guide - carbide ring and nickel silver frame

  •  Hand forged nickel-silver snake guides

  • Ring and saddle hook keeper

  • Wrapped in oxblood silk trimmed in antique gold and mahogany

  • Modified forward wells grip

  • Down-locking spalted maple reel seat with nickel silver hardware

*Both come with a vintage style aluminum rod tube with finely threaded brass end cap and custom rod bag, by Jillian Schuller.
